50 packages available for the Canadian Market.... 20 x 2 wheel drive regular cab short boxes - lowered.. 20 x crew cab 4x4's - lowered & 10 x deisel 4x4's lifted. three colors available; charcole/silver, red & black - not sure if they ever did actually get all 50 built. I bought #1 and had it home 10 days prior to completeion; had to arrange a meeting with advance trucks to complete the project.. the rest were to follow. Blacks were hot.. charcole/silver sold, but nobody wanted the red ones! seems red is dead in the vehicle market- they ended up on giving the red ones away at regular truck prices- basically free upgrades. I think of all the trucks, I paid the most for my 4x4 - 1500.. being #1 - I got no deals or discounts, and then I stuffed another $8000.00 worth of goodies into it.. total cost for mine in the end was $84,000.00 - rather costly for a 5.3 gas powered 4x4 !! sure hope it retains some value- only two years old, and already have 130,000km - but its been alot of fun- measured in 'smiles per hour' !! - downfall for mine seems to be the over sized wheels- too big! all 4 ball joints wore right out and extremely hard on tires!!
